Thanks for both responses. I do have a few books!

No lithium was never mentioned, I just started the brintellox a week ago and have that other combo that I'm working with.

It seems like it's more fighting and battling that I have to do on my own. Fighting ones own mind and body, with another part of the mind ! ! Nuts !

I have another appointment In a week and I'm gunna bring her all the stuff I've written. I also try acupuncture and massage but have anxiety about even going there.

Orange:

I did go to the search engine and found web sites that said Lithium was used in some cases for anxiety and depression.

I typed in, "Lithium for anxiety" or something like that and those sites became available.

Hi Karen and timtam

I explained to my dr how bad the anxiety gets and she prescribed klonopin. I've never taken it in before, but I'm hoping it will help me.

It will help you. It is a lot like Xanax or valium. Use it sparingly. And it doesn't take long to work. Should work right after taking it. I wish you well. Let us know how it goes.

I am very happy you got something to help you.

Hugs, Karen...

Let your doc know, and take a half next time. They can be strong. I would let the doc know though how strong that they are for you.

Even if you have to take a quarter of one, it will help. And if that is too strong she can lower the milligrams or try something else.

I hope you have a good day.

Hugs, Karen...
