I started Lexapro about 2.5 years ago. I started off with great results but the effects have slowly gotten worse and worse and now I am worse then when I began. Right now, I am on 20 mg of Lexapro, and my doctor has decided to switch me onto Zoloft 100 mg right away with no weaning off lexapro. Does anyone have experience doing this? I am unsure how this will turn out because I have read about many people first weaning off of the first drug and then gradually easing up the second one.

Some medications can just be switched, maybe your doctor figures Lexapro is one. I have had ones where I can switch like that and others that I have had to wean. I hope that the Zoloft helps you. Keep us posted on that.

Welcome to that forum. I hope you stick around.

Hope you will find the right match ,i take Lexapro too but 10 mg.

20 did not work for my anxiety.

I am scared as it is addictive pill.

I hate changing meds.
Freaks me inside out.
