My husband wants us to go out and eat tonight and do the wal-mart thing...I have to get up in the morning, get my 8 year old ready(husband has to work) and go to church so I can  practice the children for the christmas play.  then I have to go to my moms for a family christmas party.  I am back on my lexapro (1 week) but I just don't want to be social.  My husband  is so supportive of me and he thinks that getting out is the best thing for me.  Any advise on how to make it through these social events. scool

Hi,

We just got back from doing a very similar thing. We had lunch and did some shopping. Yes, it is hard but a try an do a little a t a time. I wish I had more to offer. Maybe try a little at a time, when you can. I know it can be overwhelming. Good luck. Tis the season . . .

Peace!

It takes at least 6 weeks for the medication to get in your system good, give It more time.

I've gotten to the point to where I just say I have a migrane and refuse to go anywhere. I've been thinking of excuses for a month on why I don't want to go to Florida with my b/f. And why I don't want to go to his family Christmas party. I've only been to the store and a couple of job interviews in the last 2 months.
Don't worry about the world ending,it's already tomorrow in Australia!
