Oh, so you have type 2 diabetes, not just insulin resistance. How is the byetta working out for you??? I've heard it's good for weight loss. I have pre diabetes and I can't seem to lose weight no matter what. I was thinking of talking to my doc about something like byetta or Victoza.

Ugh, I heard Byetta was great for weight loss. I guess if it is controlling your blood sugar, that is what counts. I have a bad thyroid and have to take antidepressants, sounds like that will count against me.

anti-deps tend to do this. but i am a fat turtle!!! still it is meant to slow down the metabolism, that's what i forgot earlier on. it does do this.

mum has had a course now, 6. she is doin' better, but has a long ways to go with her physical rehab. me, a tad chaotic last couple of days, and today. physio has been helping my neck and shoulders. scaphoid in shoulders buggered. not sure if mum is having more or not, she has improved considerably. i been sleepin' a lot and a bit disassociative i guess. been thinking about my existence and to what where and next type thing. very tired is the turtle. been hitting the food a bit, bugger. there is a clinical trial being done by the hosp and uni on the fruit mangosteen. apparently showing good results as a secondary for bi-polar disorders. i inquired last year, but blind studies no. i want the product not the placebo!!! sorry i am not around a lot.

I use to drink mangosteen juice Jamie. Taste real good. It was suppose to give me energy but I don't remember that part. I been hitting the sweets lately.

I am glad your mum is better.

Hang in there mate...

HI HT

Glad to hear about Mum

Proud you continue self care... awesome.

May we all try and control the comfort food. I have gained 10lbs in 3 weeks substituting Ice cream for meals.

Peace
