Hi, I have been taking Wellbutrin for 3 years now. I am now on the 300 XL dose. I felt lucky to not have any bad side affects. It just does not seem to work as well anymore. My family dr. gave me some samples of Cymbalta, but when I try to wean off the  with qa half dose I cry alot. So, what I am wondering about is has anyone out there used Wellbutrin and then tried Cymbalta and how well did it work for you? Are these weaning off symptoms normal? Happy 2006 to you all, wishing you all a peaceful mind and happy heart. tongue

I assure you that coming off any anti-d med is tough and am not suprised you are feeling the affects of the change. The good thing is, they usually decrease or disappear in a coulple of weeks. Good luck and hope things get better soon.
We can respond to irritation with a smile instead of scowl, or by giving warm praise instead of icy indifference. By our being understanding instead of abrupt, others, in turn, may decide to hold on a little longer rather than to give way. Love, patience, and meekness can be just as contagious as rudeness and crudeness.
