I have a simple question but I need input.  Right now I am not doing real well.  I called my pdoc late afternoon and left a message but said for her to call when she had time (she works an awful lot of hours) or if not I would wait til my next appt. in 2 weeks.  I am on Strattera, lexapro, lithium, and wellbuterin.  I was on effexor but she weaned me off several months ago.  I still have some samples.  I have been thinking of taking them to see if it will help me but do not know if I should do this or not.   Any ideas?

Hi Chelsi,  I would NOT take those samples.  You need to get ahold of your doctor and let her adjust your medications.  Especially with the medication regime you are already on......

I agree that you should talk to the pdoc first. Mixing meds can be dangerous. I would call back and tell them you have a question about meds and could she return your call asap.

I would wait to talk to the doc.
We can respond to irritation with a smile instead of scowl, or by giving warm praise instead of icy indifference. By our being understanding instead of abrupt, others, in turn, may decide to hold on a little longer rather than to give way. Love, patience, and meekness can be just as contagious as rudeness and crudeness.
