Hi Live,
I put a post on your thread over on A/P,
Can i ask a question of you, for you to ponder, is the depression you, ?
it's not is it, theres still you that is saying i want colour and vibrance to be happy etc
so that means it's seperate from you, you're attached to it, but it's not you
Do you understand where i am coming from ?
if it's seperate, then you have a choice as to whether you want to ignore it, play with it, or let it get to you, use your imagination, to colour the sky as you want it to be, use your body and eyes to re-adjust your mind set

you write about the sky being dark, keep looking at it, watching it change, don't think just watch it, let it be as it is,
or go find a rose from someones garden "night times best, so you don't get caught" careful of the dog, just relax and look at it, even if it doesnt excite you at first, stay with it, let yourself think about it's colour, it's texture, the curves of the leaves, everything about it, when everything starts going dark around it, you're on your way, but still keep with it, the place to be, is where you and what you are watching is all there is, find that and you will have a place you can always go easily when things get bad
Give it a go, may help some

livepast,I think I understand a little about what you are going through. I've had 2 nervous breakdowns from depression,at that time I felt like I was living in another world, kindof outside myself. It is a hard thing to come out of ,but it can be done. Have you seen a psychiatrist or counselor for this? That would be the first step I would take to help yourself. You might need meds. to help you through this time in your life. Also talking to a counselor is also helpful. There is usually always a reason when we fall into this dark tunnel, I would try to find out what is causing you to feel this way. I have had depression for half of my life, and I have found that when I,m feeling my worst is when something triggers it to happen. I'm no doctor, and they may not agree with me, but I think that depression is caused for a reason it does'nt just happen. I have a chemical imbalance, so I know it can also be physical,as well as mental.I hope this has helped you some. Hang in there you wont feel this way forever, even if it feels that way to you right now.I wish you all the best. Get all the help you need to feel better, and don't let anyone make you feel bad about getting that help. This is your life that you have to live and it's alot easier if your happy, than when your troubled.Take Care!
