Hi blowpinkpaint,  That is a pretty original screen name (cool!).  I wanted to welcome you to Healing Well forum.

I am always very cautious about any kind of "natural cure" or supplement.  I cant speak for what your friend at work is thinking in taking this or her reasoning for it is.  However, they many pending suits against them with the FDA.

Before taking anything of this sort, I always recommend going to the FDA website and investigating before hand......

Hi Ya,
Love the name too, but too long to write at 4 in the morning,

Im all for doing the natural thing, Comapnies that market these "natural cure's" generally don't care how you feel, they want your money, and they will give Oprah a bucket load just to get on her show, so then everyone goes hey i hear good things about this product, when in fact there is nothing substantial in the product that would have any real effect on you, the ingredients are so low that you would have to take huge amounts, which isn't a good idea

If you want to try the natural path, then go see a naturapath, "a good one who has done their 5 years studying at a university" then you will get the ingredients that may help you,

Whats one of the fastest growing industries at the moment, Anxiety and depression, It's huge, and a big profit to be made, so be careful,

Hi everybody! I started taking  about 8 days ago. I whole heartedly believed the saleslady and went off my medicine for arthritis, headaches, and allergies. So far I have taken 2 allergy pills (used to take them daily), motrin once for cramps, and motrin once for arthritis when it rained for 2 days. Also I am a nurse and I took Straterra last fall. It ruined my hands and I used lotion while at work about twice an hour. I had tried every lotion I could find, including bath & body "Look Ma New Hands" (12.50 for 2.5 oz) and Lachydrin (used to be prescription) and nothing worked. I have used lotion about 4 times this week. That impressed me more than my pain going away! I would keep anyone updated who is curious but I am a travelling nurse and dont have daily access to email so I can respond as soon as I can. Best of Luck!

Hello,

I am a - distributor and I would like to set the record straight.  - does not have many suits against them by the FDA.  There was one warning letter that is mentioned when someone does a search on - .  It was in regard to something on a label I believe and it has been cleared up.  - is a company that has safe products and are truly helping people with depression and bi-polar.  It has not negative interactions with medication.  Feel free to contact your - person and look into taking the products. Linda

There seems to be a lot of new Members here that want to talk about this product,

Perhaps it does do what these people are saying, but i have not seen any evidence, however there seems to be a unfortunate need to advertise on these forums, which i find very distasteful, and says a lot about the company involved, and thier lack of consideration for the rules, and those who are suffering these conditions, especially if this thread is all about pushing their product, i may be wrong but i don't think i have seen much from any of the above about what they are experiencing, or have experienced,

i would be interested in knowing exactly what is in this product, and the quantity of each ingredient, as i remember i couldn't find much on the web pages,

Just a quick update
these are the ingredients of 5mg 5HTP, Studies done show that 100 to 200 mg may help some, so 5mg is going to do very little
25mg Magnesium, i use Mg. oxide 440mg, Mag Phosphate 175mg so 25mg is not much
1mg VitaminB6, i use 50mg incl with the above
150mg L Glutamine, this i dont think has much to do with much
0.1mg Folic Acid, insufficient to do anything
300mg D L Pheylalanine, this is the only substance that may have some benifit in that the quantity of ingredient is in line with studies

If anyone is going to fall for this, then i would suggest you check out DL Pheylalanine as a single product, or part of package from a well known and responsible company, but if this is the way you want to go, then do it with the aid of a Naturapath, you'll save your money in the end

Just to clear the air, I have no reason to advertise here. After my daughter started on it and went off her allergy/asthma medicine after only 2 weeks... I can't keep up with the demand. It's not a matter of advertising and the morals of the company, it's that i feel so alive since I've been on it, I can't shut up about it.

Hi Butterbeans,
First i would like to say sorry if i offended you, and i am pleased that the allergy product has worked for you and your Daughter, but these Forums have been an easy target for people who want to sell, and they'll do it any way they can, and the reliv rep above is pretty evident that they keep an eye on their posts, this sort of push to me is distasteful,
The product i think this thread is relating to has only one ingredient that has enough quantity to be of any value, and the evidence so far for this, is that it may be benificial, in 50% of those who were in the trials. thats a good sign,
I don't know whats in the allergy product so i cant make a judgement on that,
There are many great products out there that may help, some, but as i have said in my previous posts, if anyone here has got the money to throw about then sure try it, but if not, then if thats the way they want to go, then spend your money on a naturapath,

Sorry another update,
Sorry Butterbeans, but i had a look over on allergies on your thread there, "That is" Advertising and yes you do have a reason if you are becoming a rep, and i had a look to see where else what you had written would turn up, On about 6 health board, sometimes twice with a highlight "Read this" Morals ???
