I don't have the time to talk about my visit to the doc.s today. Children ahead of me who wait their turn. So would start by asking about Cymbalata and if any one has any adverse reactions?

yeah  Hi I've been on cymbalta for about a month now. All of my stressorsin life and there are plenty, are still here. but at least I'm not crying all of the time and I'm starting to actually see a future for myself after a very long time of not. I don't know if it's just the medicine, but something is working with no side effedts so far except a little dry mouth, especially in the morning . Hope this helps. Krista

Krista Hi . I just took my first pill today and can say that I'm not sure I am real fond of it. I was warned about the nausua but was taken still by surprise. And may be I am alittle to layed back right now. I really know I have taken something new. May be this wears off after a few days I don't know? Dry mouth doesn't seem to be my problem now but walking a straight line is.
Is this normal?
And as far as my visit with the doc. went. Well it was another write perscriptions, talk about perscriptions and then we were done. 30 minutes tops. Never once talked about the chronic diaese I have and coping or about depression at all. She did say she wished she had more time to talk about the tiredness of depression but that was about it.
So don't know what to think at all.
Thanks for the info though. But could you be more speciffic about the side effects at first? Cause I'm about ready to say no more. Will this wear off?

eyes  Hi redjeep it's Krista again, I have several things wrong with me , I'm not sure if yours is just for depression. I've tried alot of meds over the years for my symptoms of M.S. and my depression. I also have severe pain from ostioporosis so I take a lot of different meds. And yes some of them make you off balance, but then again so does the disease. All I was saying was my depression was much better. I get the ligh-headed thing in the mornings ,but I was getting that before the cymbalta. I'm having a lot of constipation, but I'm pretty sure thats from my pain killers which I was already taking senecot-s for. Maybe some-one with not as many problems would be of more help to you. I'm sorry I couldn't help you more , feel better, Krista

Krista I know what it means to be on alot of different drugs. I was diagnosed with crohn's last Oct. But have a severe[sp] case it seems. Everything I put in my mouth [pill form or food] doesn't matter it will affect me some how. Bad or good. Just never know which.
I hope I did not sound harsh I didn't mean to. I'm sorry if I did. I have been real tired lately and am on the wieght loss end of a flare [that seems to be starting].
I was hoping for more of a lets work on the depression part of the visit but really got know words of wisdom I was hoping for.
Is that normal. This being my 3rd visit. Should we have spent more time on how to deal with it than lets write a perscription? I'm new in this part [all parts really] of mediecine.
