When the Red Sox win (which has not happened in a while)

When my wife is in a good mood

A Bichon smile-sometimes my dog smiles

When the kitties snuggle together (although the current 2 do not snuggle)

When my little sister wants to hang out and lounge around with me.

When the breeze blows across the fruit trees in our backyard, and the smell drifts around the house.

When my whole family watches a silly movie together.

A rat terrier smile -- my dog smiles sometimes, too.

:)

I forgot to add that I love when my dog licks my feet. Not in any wierd way, but it is soothing, sometimes it tickles, and it always is spontanious when you least expect it.

The realization that I have two fantastic kids,
The realization that people often remark how proud I am when talk to them about my children,
The realization that through all the hurt and pain I have caused I know in my heart that my wife is there for me and always will be,
The realization that I can fix almost anyhting I work on,
The realization that as long as I'm trying I can't be defeated,
The realization that as a part of this group I belong and can be a part of something wonderful that extends hope to all who wish it,
The realization that happiness is in reach if you continue to try.
I wish happiness for all, Jer

Sue,

I am so sorry to hear about your son, that is very sad.
I am glad you have a supportive family around you right now.

You are in my thoughts

Sexysue (love the name) it sounds like you might want to talk about Jamie. If so, how about a seperate Jamie thread. Being the mom of two pretty amazing kids myself, I always enjoy hearing parents talk about their amazing kids.

What makes me happy?

A clear mind
Intellectual challenge
A peaceful day in the sun with a cool breeze.
Lately my happy thing is kayaking
Being outside
My close friend
My husband and kids
A clean house (I am a messy person and rarely achieve it but love it when I do)
Not having to worry about money (yeah, that never happens either) LOL

Atedogs, I'm a fellow romance novel reader.  I don't like the Pink and Purple cover Silhouette penny dreadfuls  kind but love to read something with some intellectual challenge and a great romance.  Have you read Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series?   It's wonderful.

So glad you are feeling better. tongue

What makes me (Dee) happy!

Seeing my daughters, my grandchildren and my great grandchildren. (they all live out of town)
Cuddling with my dogs (I'm widowed) I get both feet licked. Tee Hee!
My rose garden.
Dancing at the Senior Center.
Crocheting afgans for the Cancer Center
Painting
The sunshine
That morning cup of coffee

My goofy family.
My boyfriend Brett.
How Brett always calls me at least four or five times a day when he's at work.
My daughter (Boston Terrier) Lucy.
How Lucy gives me a kiss whenever I ask her to and how she immediatley runs to get a toy when I get home.
Running on my treadmill while watching movies.
Searching the racks at the Nordstrom outlet store.
The rare night when I can fall asleep when I get in bed and sleep through the whole night.
Sea kayaking.
Gardening (trying to).
Cooking and trying out new recipes.
Decorating the house.
Christmas lights. Especially the Clark Griswald variety in the movie Christmas Vacation.
Any day when I don't have to yell at the stupid neighbor kid who thinks my front yard is his personal playground.
Thinking about what I'd do if I won the lottery.

Pills.

Haha.

It is true though.

Mind you all they do is take away dark depression and I still hate myself with all my heart, I wish there was a pill to fix that. At least im showering and grooming myself these days, thats a plus. All thanks to anti depressants. I thought I was doomed.

I also enjoy playing my bass, that makes me happy sometimes.
Music.
Tai Chi

Thats about it.

im a professional... on an amateur level !

A sudden rainstorm.
Getting lost in a good mystery.
