I have heard a lot of information about how your thyroid gland can cause depression, etc. What I have never heard about is the parathyroid gland and if that can cause depression also. My daughter (24) has Raynaud's Disease (an autoimmune disease) and has suffered on and off with depression and anxiety since she was young teenager. She is extremely moody most of the time and extremely sensitive.

Does anyone have info regarding the parathyroid gland and production of hormones? My daughter was just diagnosed with calcemia (too much calcium in the blood) and possibly has a problem with her parathyroid gland.

If anyone has any information about anything I just mentioned, would you please post me a reply. I would really appreciate it.

Sorry to hear that your daughter is going through it. I don't know anything about this gland but I just had a look on the net and there is lots of info.

try http://www.parathyroid.com it seems to be quite informative.

Best of luck!
