I am afraid to get out of bed in the morning, not because I am depressed but because I get so nervous that I feel like I can't make it through the day with out an Ativan. I have a 6 year old Son who is so high strung, he told me he can't sit still at school and concentrate. He is the sweetest and kind hearted kid, and he wants to please everyone and he just can't stop fidgeting. I have had him tested for ADHD, the therapist said she feels he is a canidate  for ADHD diagnosis, but to keep a close eye on him. I feel guilty, like I made him this way. He is so smart, I don't want to Medicate him. I have an appointment with his Pediatrician tommorow, to get his advice. I have the shakes all the time, until I take the Ativan, I feel like I am out of control. Any advice on the ADHD experience would be appreciated.   Thanks

Hi Shakes, I'm so sorry that you are feeling this way. You should post on Anxiety/AP and "ADHD" too. Everyone at HealingWell is searching for answers. You will find lots of support here. Did you know that high intelligence is found in individuals that have ADHD. Maybe read some books on ADD and do a google search. Meanwhile, give yourself a break, hun, it's obvious that you love your Son and that is a lot.

Thank you for your kind words, I am new to this sight and this computer stuff. From your member name I see that you probably have Migraines. Have you ever tried Red pepper paste or oil? It is sold at GNC stores, it is put under the nose. It helped my Uncle who suffers w/ migraines. Have a Happy THanksgiving.

I'll look for it. Might as well give it a try. Does it make you sneeze?
