i went to the doctors today, i had to fill in loads of questionnaires, he put the info into the computer and apparently out of mild, moderate and severe depression, i have moderate depression and moderate anxiety. Its a bit worse than i thought, i thought i had mild depression...but apparently not!

its the first time ive left my flat in 3 days, and only coz i needed a repeat prescription for my meds (and to find out my diagnosis). im so sleepy, the doc said i have to sleep less, but its easier said than done. I feel better having finally sought help from the docs. it makes me feel like what im going through is real and not just in my head.

i am at university, and have so much work to do, and i just cant make myself do it, im so tired and just want to sleep. the doc said i should go outside more and walk places, but its harder than he seems to realise - i nearly fell asleep in his office after walking to the clinic!! thanks for listening just needed to get it all out!xx

Hi Lilly,  I am glad that you got out to the doctor's and were able to get some answers today.  Of course it's not all in your head...depression is very real and anxiety is difficult to live with I know.
We are here for you... :-)

Lilly, although it's shocking to hear someone give you a diagnosis, it feels good at some level, doesn't it? At least you know there is something that can be done about it. Did he prescribe anything? Counseling?
