i have seen that many people have great signatures where they have sayings, proverbs or thoughts, i think they can be very helpful and they make me feel better when im down and feel like my life will never get any better, so i thought it might be good if we could have a post where we can post these thoughts and sayings in one place?!!

so heres one that has helped me put things into perspective many a bad day!!

"Finish every day and be done with it. You have done what you could.
Some blunders and absurdities no doubt have crept in; forget them as soon
as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with
too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense. This day is
all that is good and fair. It is too dear, with its hopes and
invitations, to waste a moment on yesterdays."

(Ralph Waldo Emerson)

please add your own, and hopefully this can be somewhere to read if anyone is feeling miserable! thankyou in advance people!! yeah

  • Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken winged bird that cannot fly. (Langston Hughes)

  • It's easier to go down a hill than up it but the view is much better at the top. (Arnold Bennet)

Here is a poem that came to mind. (hope you don't mind the spiritual aspects of it)

Refuse to be discouraged,
Refuse to be distressed,
For when we are despondent
Our lives cannot be blessed,
For doubt and fear and worry
Close the door to faith and prayer,
For there's no room for blessings
When we're lost in deep despair.
So remember when you're troubled
With uncertainty and doubt
It is best to tell our Father
What our fear is all about.
For unless we seek His guidance
When troubled times arise
We are bound to make decisions
That are twisted and unwise.
But when we view our problems
Through the eyes of God above,
Misfortunes turn to blessings
And hatred turns to love.
"God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. Amen."

I get my thoughts in line
as I synch up the how’s and the why.
How I got this
it doesn’t matter.
Why I have this
I guess I don’t know the answer.
But who I am now,
is so much more than who I was.
Fingertips lift a paint brush
and spread my sadness upon a canvas,
leaving it there to dry
and be forgotten.
So I write, and I draw, and dabble in the crafts
that make me feel whole.
I have something I can’t quite figure out,
that I know.
But with each new day,
I open my eyes,
cast a smile upon my lips,
and pray for a decent afternoon.
I turn to HW,
and then continue with my day,
Stretch out a bit, meditate,
and then forget what was yesterday,
focus on the now,
and not even worry about tomorrow.
Tomorrow’s just another day.
With a will I’ll find the way
to my inner strength
and inner peace.
Now it's just a matter of time
to find a way,
to put myself at ease.

Dream
And as you dream ,
remember
That only you can make
Your dreams come true

Reach
And as you reach
remember that success takes time
devotion and sometimes
A little disappointment

Believe
and as you believe,
you will find reaching gets easier
Setbacks get more manageable

Life becomes more meaningful

There is a wonderful dream
Waiting just for you

I know you can make it come true

Dedicated to all those that need to dream and will reach thier dreams ..........
With Support and help from all here on HW
WE can do it

Luvs and Happy fullfilling dreams to all

thanks you guys, all the thoughts are very inspirational and i will write them down and pass them around my friends as i think there is a lot of truth in them.

just reading them cheered me up,  as they show that no matter how down we feel sometimes and how alone or full of dispair our lives may seem, there is hope and we can get through anything as long as we have faith, in ourselves.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
xx
