hi from a new bloke!....i will seek advice from my doc today but am still curious about others opinions...to help with ocd i have been on luvox 100 mg per day for 8 weeks....it hasnt helped much but 4 other reasons i am extremely confident that i wont be indulging in that obsessive behaviour any more....hence my question about others experience/suggestions about dosage reductions over time?.......thanksi

Hi , Welcome to Healing Well.

Your doctor may want to keep you on the med as sometimes it can take a period of time to start working properly.  If you do feel that you want to reduce or stop the med then do so only with your doctor's advice as you may need to slowly reduce the dosage before you stop completley.

Talk to your doctor and see what he/she thinks about this and whether you feel you can manage your OCD without any meds.

Take care
