Having magor trouble sleeping. Here's what happens every night. Less the coffee i have before bed which is hard to cut back on but anyway, i and my husband go to bed usually around 11 or so. By 2 am i have had three to four dreams most of which i can remember them all, i either get up and take a bath to relax and go back to sleep or i just lay there and fall back to sleep again at around 5 am i am up again. I am not sure why this is i only sleep through the entire night about once maybe twice a week. Current meds are 125mgs of Zoloft which i know can cause sleep problems 100mgs of sereqouel, and 0.5 of klonopin twice daily. I have headaches frequently and back problems, also on top of the concern list is that i take naps during the day to relax and catch up the sleep i miss the night before i wake up sometimes from the naps and have seizure type symtoms, i cannot describe this very well but my brain buzzes, my eyes flutter, and mild twichting. These symptoms didn;t really start happening until increased my Zoloft 25mgs and added the sereqoul. i started the sereqoul at 25mgs and went up to 100mgs on advice by psych doc of course but. Not sure what;s going on and i have some days were i still cry and have some mood issues. I see him on the 3rd of April and have to explain all of this to him and maybe he will be able to help me. IF by chance there are others in the forum that have these similar problems can you give me some advice thanks Twiggy2

Hi Twiggy
I too have problems with waking up all night and not getting enough sleep. I can not take naps though as if I do I feel worse than before.
I would almost bet it is the meds you are on and the caffeine.
What about trying some decaf? I would hope that they can help you with this.

I only drink decaf these days as it makes me too wired if I have caffeine. I usually try to relax in the evening - warm bath, lavender etc etc to try and help me sleep.
