Hi guys, I'm normally in the anxiety forum but am posting this question here as well......
I'm currently on zyprexa 5mgs a day as a mood stabiliser. I've read 5mgs is the starting dose, has anyone used it with their anti d's to help control the ruminating thoughts and balance themselves (I'm not bi-polar) just very anxiety prone and depressive. I'm seeing my pdoc tomorrow so would love some others findings before I go.
Has anyone has success with zyprexia and if so what sort of level were you on? I'm currently on 60mgs of avanza as well daily and weaning of clonazepam which is an absolute nightmare.

confused  Hi,
I,too, am on Zyprexa for moods. I take 2 1/2mgs a day. It helps me sleep and has no side effects, apart from some weight gain, but very little, only about 3kgs. I also take Lovan for depression, which has no side effects for me.  Will be starting to go off Zyprexa next week when I see my doctor, as I have been on it for about 4 months and he thinks that is long enough. I hope I can still sleep when I come offf it. Hope it works as well for you as it does for me.
