Hiya,

Do you take any meds for your depression? It might be that you can benefit from the boost you can get from AD's. You might also get on better with the talk therapy as well. Is there something specific about the therapist you didnt like or was it the therapy itself?

Thanks for checking in again

Hi Ktay

High School is very hard. My son is a senior right now,and it took him about a year to get adjusted.
Are you able to talk to your school counselor?
What you need to remember is that I am sure your parents want you to talk to them, that is how they know how you are doing. Sometimes we forget, and then we feel left out when it comes to our kids.

Keep in mind, you have your whole life ahead of you,and you are so close of being out of high school for good.
What type of plans do you have for after you do finish school?
We are here for you whenever you need to talk...stay strong and keep your head UP!

Yea.. high school is rough… this year is aiight only because I’m in 4 classes.. and noooo I hate school counselors and I’m best friends with the school psychologist so it’s hard to talk to her about things seriously we always just kid around… my parents yea I know they want to know everything but I never share with anyone cuz it hard for me to trust people even my parents… they expect me to be like my brother… ugh… lately I jus been extremely frustrated and it’s a struggle for me to make it through the night…

Plans for after high school… honestly I want to be a stripper, go to college, get married and crap… and be a college professor… iono if ill accomplish any of that but whatever... and thanks for listening. =/

Hiya,

Have you tried having a serious discussion with the school psychologist? They should be able to talk to you on a professional level without letting the friendship cloud their judgement. It is normal for parents to want to know everything and they do it because they love you and worry about you. My parents are the same. It might be nice for you and them if you started to learn to trust them by talking to them. Go at your own pace, talk about minor stuff to start with and build it up. Hopefully, by then, you will have 2 more people you can talk to. As for your plans after High School, you can achieve whatever you want to. All you have to do is believe and do your best.
