My hubby, who also suffers from a chronic condition brought up an interesting point. He said he thought that as a general rule, he thinks the percentage of women that post regularly here is much higher than men. I'm wondering if he's right or not..?

What do you think?

Hi Bear, I think your husband is probably right. It does seem that more women post than men although I think sometimes it is hard to tell from the names. It may be easier for women to get their feelings out by posting. And I do think it is a good way to relieve stress. It would be interesting to hear what the guys think.

Hiya,

I would say that generally more women post than men do. I think it comes from the fact that women are more able to accept that there is a problem and willl talk about it where men tend to keep things to themselves. (Which is daft at the best of times). Its to do with macho-pride and all that... Something that men need to get over. I applaude all the men who post on here seeking help. You are an example to us all
