I know that I posted something in a reply before, but I'm and always have been curious about being admitted to the hospital. I understand it's very serious. But I just want to clear up one thing for sure before I go to my next therapy meet-if anyone can help me-the only way they can make you go to the hospital is if you're suicidal or homicidal, right? or does that include self-harm or harm to others? I'd appreciate some feedback

Each state has different rules, usually it is only if your are suicidal, yes but I would google your state's hospital rules to find out.... if you want to email me the state that you live in (see email in my profile) I can research it for you.

HI there,

How are you today?  I hope you are going to be truthful with your therapist.  I fear you may be checking the laws and are worried if you tell the truth you will get sent to a hospital.  People may have thoughts of harm with no intention of hurting themselves so please don't leave out something because of worrying.

Gentle Hugs

I am a self-harmer. If you are a harm to yourself or others you should be hospitalized. If you end up in a hospital or treatment facility, utilize it and work hard on the source of your pain. Don't be ashamed.

Good Morning behindtheseeyes,

I was thinking about you and wondering how you are doing?  Please make a thread/topic for you if you would like and we will support you as well as we can which around here is usually pretty durn good.

It is that time of year when people with A & P and Depression often have a difficult time. Though the holidays are a rough time emotionally many people put on their best face and make it through the holidays and then have a melt down as soon as the holidays are over.

All of us have a little child inside who continually wishes for happy endings. If your starting to feel the lonliness and stress of the holidays, please share with us and let us help you.  We are here 24/7 and you are part of the Healing Well Family. We care.

Gentle Hugs,

Kitt
