A friend of mine gave me a bottle of "Gold's Ketchup - With a Hint of Horseradish."
I looked at the contents, which read:
Total fat = 0
Sodium = 60mg
Total Carbs = 1g
Sugars = 1g
Protein = 0g
Serving size = 1 tsp (5g)

Has anyone heard about or tried this product? I do not see too much information about ketchup (with or with horseradish) and GI or GL. I know people are different but wonder if anyone would have any comments about using this product? Other than taking it and then doing a test.
Also, has anyone tried the Laughing Cow Babybel semisoft cheese snacks? Any comments.

Thanks.

Hi Robert, I suppose that ketchup is ok as long as you don't drink it!  I don't use it anymore so I don't know what effect it would have on me but this is a condiment that normally contains sugar, so you have to be really careful in how much you use.  I've eaten the Baby Bel individual cheese rounds and I'm ok with them.  I guess the key is "not to excess".

Robert,
Any food with less than 5gm carb per serving is usually considered a "FREE" food if used in moderation. This shouldn't cause any rise in blood sugar and actually contains some good for you stuff.
