Has anyone here used ACV to help their diabetes? I found an interesting site where folks relate their personal experiences with using it and many have been benefited by using it.
As for myself, I am taking it everyday (2 tbs in 8 oz. of water 3x a day) and I am not sure if it's made any difference as regards my diabetes. However, I do believe that it has helped me to have a decreased appetite, which is certainly a good thing considering that I need to lose lots of weight! Also, my energy level, sleepiness, and nasal congestion all seem to be better too.
I'm not saying for others to take ACV, that's a personal decision. I just wanted to share my experience and see if any others have done this and what benefits, if any, that they had.
Thanks!
JL

Hi Janet, I know there are people who do use apple cider vinegar for health reasons but I don't know of any effects it has on blood sugar.  It's good on salad! :-)    Personally, I would not depend on this alone.  To control your blood sugar better, diet and exercise are proven to have good effects.

Never heard of it but it's an interesting concept... Now if we could just combine all the foods that are supposed to help diabetes into one elixir... Cinnamon, stevia, vinegar... yum!

Well now, Jeannie, we could make up a nice salad dressing with all that and some olive oil.
