I read in my Prescription for Nutritional Healing Book that Spirulina helps to stabilize Blood Sugar Levels.
What Spirulina is:
Spirulina is valuable in helping to stabilize Blood Sugar. It is also showing promise in reducing Cholesterol and Triglyceride levels.
I also read that fresh Vegetable Juices reduces the need for Insulin and also lowers the levels of Fat in the Blood.

Please be extra careful where Spirulina is concerned. I found out that it is often grown in some of the most polluted waters of the world.
