No I didnt think it was related to diabetis but people on here seem to have raised alt levels, didnt realise they all have diabetis.  I am having a liver scan in a couple of weeks because I told the doctor i was worried so he has referred me for an ultra sound to put my mind at rest.  could it be stomach problems? rather than liver related as I have assumed this is all down to either a blip or liver problems ie fatty liver, dont drink alcohol so whatever it is its not down to alcohol. recently had HEP B Vaccinations done by the university and had blood test since and it said I was immune so can rule hep B out. I do suffer from IBS, have done for years but it doesnt seem to trouble me very often.  Might get scan out of the way and if that shows no obvious liver damage might go down the gastro route.  Thanks for listening anyway.

Nicky, I don't know what to tell you.  Here on Healing Well, there are forums for Hepatitis and IBS and others that might be able to shed some light on this.  Sorry, but good luck to you.
