After my last hearing test, I was told that it had dropped a little more than it had been doing in the past few years.  My recent diabetes developments made me curious about a connection.  I found this article.

Thanks for the article, Chris.  After reading it, it does make sense that hearing could be affected as much as sight.  In my own family this was true with my mother and grandmother and now me.  While I don't believe there's anything I can do about improving the hearing, I've been successful so far controlling the diabetes.  "Control" is the key word here because I'm still diabetic but I'm hoping to avoid complications, which are what eventually killed my mother and grandmother.
