I don't normally post here, but I saw some news that looks promising regarding a potential cure for type 1 diabetes.

The article mentions FDA approved phase 1 clinical trials.

Keeper, the link doesn't work but www.sciencedaily.com has many articles and releases about diabetes trials on its website.  Perhaps we can start poking around there.  Thanks for the reference.

Funny, it works when I paste it into the address bar. To help with a search at Science Daily, the title of the article is "Potential Diabetes Treatment Selectively Kills Autoimmune Cells From Human Patients".

It's on my Google desktop as an RSS feed. It always has more to say than any of the other news sites I get.
