Can anyone tell me which of these two meters would be the better one?  I am so new to the diabetic thing.  I have dealt with Crohn's for years, but my son is now diabetic.  Any help is appreciated.

Welcome to this side of the Forum.  I hope someone can answer your question soon.  I don't know those meters at all.  I use Bayer Contour.  You might also check them out on the Web to see if there's any information about them or feedback.  Sorry I can't help more than that.

I'd go with the one with the least expensive test strips. Over time this is what kills your budget if you don't have insurance. This is why I use a Prestige IQ meter. The strips are only about 30ยข each vs. $1.00 or more for the name brand meters.
