Other day I had a migraine and didnt eat. Well I swear migraines and diabetes is a wretched combo. I went in the doctor office for my migraine shots. I felt sleepy to so I asked for my blood sugar to be checked. Hell, I was at 38 and sent the nurses screaming and doctors rushing in. So I dont panic the doctor office, what can I do when I puke during a migraine to keep my blood sugar up?

If I am sick, I lower my meds to keep BG up.

Sipping regular coca cola or ginger ale at room temp will usually stay down and help your blood glucose maintenance as well. Sipping is the key. Hope this helps.
