hi community, my name is jamiee, i am a regular on the depression site, i also float around others when needed info is required. yeah i am a t1 diabetic, 20yrs or so now, novorapid 22-24units x3, and the occ late one at night if req. lantus solostar for bed, 40-42units. i exercise heaps, a tad hard at times, stuffed back and diabetic nuropathy (feet) yeah have poor healing sores too! plumbing issues, a couple of wks ago had an u/sound and 2 xrays, basically i am retaining water, with major overflow issues, results say urachral remnant, and diverticulitus, had ct-week ago, awaiting results, possible surgery. have been refered to my hosp urlogy surgical op dept. will advise. sugars, up and down, pretty good with diet and management, just sick of the water work issues. belly is distended, one mass, not fat, too look at i am having twins, due 2 wks ago awaiting inducement, asap! thanx for letting me post. i look forward to saying hi again.

Wow! Jamiee, you have a lot on your plate! Can't offer any real help but I'll be thinking of you. Take care and good luck with the possible surgery.

OMG Jaimee...you have too much going on!! I was just diagnosed 3 weeks ago with T2 and it sucks... but at least I only take 1700 mg. Metformin daily... Although the Doc is scaring me by mentioning that if my numbers don't go down by next week he's putting me on insulin to take at night...That scares me.... But you have more then I could ever deal with...

120 mg. Methadone daily /15 mg. Oxycodone as needed
Type 2Diabetes : (March 16, 2009)
Metformin 500 mg. twice daily

thanx 4 the support unique and jeannie143. yeah a bit on the plate, with other stuff too, been awake all last night, vomiting, sewats today, slept a bit this arvo, do not disturb has been on the door all day, going back to bed, happy easter all, yeah i feel your thouhts, am very grateful for this, blessings back 2 u guys and to the diabetic community as well. jamie

Happy early Easter everyone....and Jaimee, my middle name is "funny".. Not really, it's Michelle... but I love a good laugh.  Especially when we have all these problems going on..  And sleep depravation is not a funny matter..

too true rhonda. sleep deprivation aint funny! keep the faith my friend. sugars better last few days, been out weed wacking my garden (jungle!) last 2 days, feel much better, broke my fever through shear determination and by keeping my butt of the sofa!!!! take care, hoping your t2 management goes well for you. cheers, jamie. keep posting.

just letting you know of ct results, no diverticulitus, but do have the uracheral remnant. not dangerous, no treatment needed, all organs in excellnt shape, even my airways and i am a heavy smoker nono yeah i get told off by my qwack at regular intervals about smoking and diabetes!! got to do urine & bloods tomorrow, doc thinks possible tumors in bladder from one of the many itis's, cystitus, prostitus, etc. waiting for urology appt, will push em' a bit in the morning. may need a cysteroscopy, gp thinks so anyway. sugars improving, as was my with last hba1c. 7.3. very good for me, considering past no's. keep well guys, thanx 4 listening diabetic community. jamie scool scool
