Ok, because I thought this was interesting or because I have lost my mind  smhair   I started these challenges on Monday.  The website for the push ups (or "press ups") says we can do the modified kind, so I figured "why not?".   I printed out Week 1 for each and I'm marking off what I've done as sort of a motivation for myself.  It's a gradual build up every week and you can repeat a week if you need to.  Anyone else interested???

"Not I" said the little red hen. I'm baking my brains out and swimming twice a week. But they look "challenging".

Nope.  I do my own 'modified kind' of pushups -- I call'em drag-outs -- every morning before going to work ...

Whoo, whoo, whoo.... that's me cheering you on, Lanie!

I'm landscaping my front yard/entrance at the moment and finding it enough of a challenge (Moving the 24x24" concrete slabs are doin' me in :-)

Best of luck to ya and keep us posted.

Oh, Kris, I know exactly what you mean.  I have been moving around some landscape timbers, or had been before we were beset with temps up to 97 this week, and I prefer to do it rather than wait for someone to help.  By the time the husband or son is around and "ready to help", we'll have snow on the ground.  Anyway, I figure it builds muscles and that's why I started these 'challenges'.  So, I've completed the first week of the (modified) push ups and squats.  So far, it's fine.  Tomorrow starts week 2.  I'll let you know now that goes.  :-)
