Yes, folks, you read that right!  :-)    Bayer just came out with an A1c test kit containing 2 tests for about $29.99 available by mail-order from Walgreen's.  I read that the results are immediate.  I bought a kit from WalMart called Reli-On for $9 which is sent to a lab in a postage -paid envelope and you get the results by email.  I haven't done it yet but I'll let you all know how it works out.  I'm wondering how accurate these are.  I suppose the best way would be to use one of the kits when you do an A1c in a lab as usual.  I'm glad they're becoming available to the average person at last.  yeah

That sounds interesting.  Do you have to fill up a quart bottle with blood like they at my lab? smilewinkgrin

Alright, alright.  The Reli-On kit just needs some big drops of blood on two circles on a special card provided.  turn
