We're doing some house cleaning here on the Diabetes Forum.  You know, the holidays are coming and we want to spruce the place up.  wink   So far, two information posts have been placed in Diabetes Resources above:  What makes blood sugar rise? and Blood Sugar Conversion Chart.  The conversion chart shows equivalents (as close as it can, I guess) between mmol/L and mg/dL and the A1c.  I think we in the States are the only ones who use the mg/dL measurement.  Why?  The rest of the world uses mmol/L.  There's also a useful link to a website about these measurements and equivalents.  (Our blood sugar meters can be easily switched to the other measurement system, so if you move to another country...)  Anyway, in the future, then, we can easily refer everyone to read the sticky at the top of our forum's page for information that we might normally have to search back for and then bump.  I hope this makes sense.  :-)
Also, there should not be any responses to the stickies.  If there are, they will be moved back down here as a new post or just deleted.  turn
