Alpha lipoic acid

Anyone take it? What sort of results have you seen?


I saw some reliable research indicating it lowers blood sugar, so I'm going to give it a try. I'm already taking CoQ10 and probiotics.



OMG, I'm turning into a supplement junkie! confused

Actually I've read that, too, in Richard Bernstein's book Diabetes Solution.  He said there are different kinds of alpha lipoic acid but in any case, I have bought some but haven't started taking it.  And, other supplements that are recommended for diabetes are: biotin and cinnamon in addition to the CoQ10 that you mentioned.  So, maybe this is a good time to start.  Need to keep a record of blood sugar readings to see trends.
