Has anyone taken Garlic for lowering BP and cholesterol? If yes how many flakes per day and how did you take it. Did you chew or swallow like pills. What time did you take it, Did it make a difference? Please give complete details. Kindly note I don't want to read something online so don't give me links please. I want someone to relate their personal experiences. Thanks.

I use garlic in my foods. I sprinkle about a tsp over the meal I am preparing. It does lower cholesterol for me. I don't know about BP but it might since my BP is going down since I started doing this.

Don't know about garlic, although I use tons of fresh stuff in all my cooking. I use flaxseed oil and fish oil to help with my blood lipids. Also use lots of olive oil in salads and sauces. These monounsaturated fats will help flush the more dense fats out of the system. Every little bit helps.
