I'm so happy, my BGL's have finally settled into a lower range - 100-115 - and my weight continues to drop. If you recall, I had complained that they were all over the place. Now they're more consistent, although my fasting is still about the same as my 2 hour. Interestingly, if I check in the middle of the night - say 3 AM - it will be below 100 every time.

On a different note, I suddenly realized this week when I was setting up meds that my blood pressure meds somehow slipped through the cracks of my screwy doctor's office/pharmacy ordering process, and I've been off it for at least a month. My BP has been running around 115/65! I guess I can add that to my list of things to talk to the doc about this month.

I'll bet that weight loss lead to the lowered blood pressure. You may be off those meds for good! Congrats!

Wow!  Congratulations!  And I'm glad you're keeping an eye on it.  I had been on 2 meds for BP and about 1 1/2 years ago, I was able to get off one of them.  It was likely because of weight loss and the fact that I was doing regular exercise.  I'm glad you're seeing all around improvement, Judy.

That happened to me too, Judy!  I was on blood pressure medication and diuretics and then I lost 85 pounds.  I'm now off those medications and it's wonderful...especially not having to take a diuretic!  shocked  My blood pressure is about what yours it.  Great job, Judy!  It makes you feel great!

It really makes me ashamed of how long it took me to get my self back on track, but there's no point in dwelling on that. I still have massive amounts of weight to loose and fitness to gain.

Thanks for always being so encouraging!
