I mentioned before that I had recently had surgery for kidney stone removal and lost 14 pounds over a 6 day period. I was at 208 in 2008 -- after the procedure last month, I was down to 140! This was too much and since I have more surgery scheduled in my near future. I decided to put some weight back on. By simply eating larger portions, increasing my carb intake slightly and testing more often, I have managed to put about 8 pounds back on in the last 3 weeks without shooting my BG through the roof.

That's better ... now there isn't that annoying crunching sound when I sit down on wooden chairs tongue

Now it's just a matter of tapering the carbs back down to my normal regimen.

It's nice to know I have control over at least something in my life smilewinkgrin
