My sugars are getting better and I'm happy. One thing I don't understand is how pizza can raise blood sugar to almost 200 but the ultimate feast at red lobster which is crab legs, lobster tail, 6pieces of shrimp scampi, biscuit salad and bourbon pecan sweet potatoes without pecans only took to 129. I feel better than I have in months. I love victoza

I'm glad the victoza is working better for you.

I have never had the Ultimate Feast at Red Lobster. (In fact, I've only eaten there once.) My guess about the blood sugar results would be that the pizza crust is the majority of what makes up the pizza and that means pure flour which is a lot of carbs.

The shrimp, crab and lobster dinner is probably more protein and fat even if you're eating a biscuit and the sweet potatoes.

Here is a nutrition list from Red Lobster: /redlobster.com/health/nutrition/Nutrition_Facts.pdf

According to their own calculations, that feast is loaded with calories, salt, fat as well as carbs and I would hope you are not eating it alone or all at one time!

In any meal, fats, protein and fiber are supposed to temper blood sugar spikes by drawing the effects out over a longer time than eating something like cake, bread or that pizza which would probably give you an earlier and higher spike - and then drop, depending on the individual and if that person is on diabetes meds.

I did eat on my own but that's not an all the time thing. I normally eat smaller meals but last night i made an exception. I'm down 24 pounds now so I'm doing something right
