Hi there,
I found this article and thought it was interesting..
I don't actually agree with the reasons the article gives as causing the eating disorders - I have views on this myself!  I had anorexia and bulimia when I was younger (between 16 and 21) and I've recently started having problems again.  I believe it's to do with all the focus we have to put on food at such an early age (as well as emotional problems but that's a different matter) - imagine having to go on a diet when you are 12, you are bound to want to rebel against it -  and I just am interested in just how many people this affects!  I also hope it helps other people if they know they are not alone.
