What are you doing now to manage it? What, specifically, would you like to improve or manage better?
I am a "brittle" Type1 Diabetic, too, so I understand what you mean by small changes throwing everything for a loop. I found the best thing to start with for managing anything is...a log book. Write down all your glucose readings, your insulin injections, EXACTLY (weigh it if you have to) everything you eat/drink, exercise, and notes. You will need this information in order to see patterns of where you may need attention. What's not measured is not managed.
