You don't want to get used to those numbers... Your doctor is going to be starting you on meds that should bring those numbers way down. If you've been living with high numbers for a while you may find that you have some low blood sugar feelings (light headed, hungry) when your numbers get down to normal range for a few days. Your body will quickly adjust. Please keep us posted on how you're doing and read back in the forum for food plan hints and exercise ideas. I'll bump some of the info up for you so it's easy to find.
