I didn't TOTALLY fall off, but I slid a little ... it's back to it today! I will say this, the guilt was tremendous. i'd rather NOT have that cookie than have this guilt!!!

Oh, Ruth, I know exactly what you mean, but there are some situations in which I find it impossible to resist something.  Trying to control the numbers only by diet and exercise can be tough because the slips are recorded later.  I'm finding that it's easier to return to the commitment of the healthy way though and my 'slips' are not complete falls off that wagon.  It's important that we recognize that we're only human but at the same time we pull ourselves up and get back on the right track ... or the treadmill, whichever.

Thanks for the encouragement, Lanie! I did learn a valuable lesson. Carbs are a drug to me ... once I have any I CRAVE more. I am going to go hit the treadmill now ... if only just for the sake of disipline! I'm one of those people who just have to totally leave sugar alone. Even a little makes me want more, more, MORE!!!!!!!!
