yeah  I have been following this list for only a month or so.  I have been a type II diabetic for over 30 years, and I think I have run across almost all of the do's and don't's therre are.  I have learned to live with my impairment,  I must say that one of the forum moderators, Jeanie, is a pure joy to read.  She is knowledgeable, bright, caring and above all aware of her responsibilities.  Did You know that in just about three years she has posted more than 3000 times?  My congratulations and thanks to you Jeanie.

Gosh! (Jeannie is red faced!) You're making me blush! Thank you for your kind words. I, along with most all of the diabetics here on the site, want to help others to deal with their new lifestyle and to help get rid of the doom and gloom ideas previously held about DM. There is a lot to learn and understand and all the shortcuts we can share make it easier.
