 Hey,
In January I joined this forum for advice because I had been diagnosed with Pre-Diabetes.  I got a lot of good information from everyone here and I also went to a nutritionist plus read all I could about diabetes.  Diabetes runs in my family so I was at risk for sure.  I have always exercised and tried to eat healthy but oh yeah, here I was with the newly diagnosed with pre-diabetes.  eyes
After my trip to the nutritionist I changed my diet and I upped my exercise big time.  I watched my carb intake stopped eating bread...which I loved at lot.  On weekends I would eat some of the forbidden food in moderation but I always got on the treadmill every day for 30 to 40 minutes.  I used to do 3 days a week and now I do it every day no matter what.

Well, today I got the results of my blood test and my blood glucose was in the normal range it went from 115 to 96.  I've lost 15lbs and am still working the last 5 lbs.  I never thought myself as overweight becasue I carried my weight really well and am very curvy but now I feel so much better and my curves are more defined.  The best thing is that I got my blood glucose undercontrol.  tongue    I have made a commitment to stay on track with the healthy diet and more exercise.  Now when I go out to eat with friends, I notice how unhealthy some people eat!!

I wanted to share this with all of you in the forum.  I will continue to stop by and visit you all because there is good info here for everyone.

Keep it up while you keep it real.

All the best
