my doc keeps pushing me to try pump.. which i'd consider once I have a job and insurance again... but my biggest objection is feeling like it'd be a pain to deal with jeans / pants/ or women's suits... plus dealing with the line when sleeping or making nookie... :)
any feedback on what it's been like for you?

its ok... if you dont have pockets to put it in i normally put it in my bra. theres several ways you can wear it though... but it sucks having sex though... i'm very self-conciese about it, so most of the time i keep a shirt on to cover up the site...

I felt the same way before getting my pump, but it doesn't take long and you hardly realize its there. With some outfits it does pose a problem, but not too many I have found. One piece dresses and such are really the only thing. You can put it in a pocket or use the clip for any other pants or skirts.
Sleeping was the hardest for me to get used to. I tried keeping it attached to myself and would roll on it. I asked at a diabetes forum and people suggested to leave it lying loose on the bed and that worked well.
You would think the set would come out, but it doesn't, they hold very well. For the nookie thing... I take mine off. lol
Overall it is wonderful. So many options unlike shots.
Take care

I love my pump.  I sometimes clip it to my pants or skirt.  I don't really wear a lot of dresses so that hasn't been a real problem for me.  I bought a pump pack to wear with things that I don't really feel comfortable with it on the waist band.  It is a belt with a little pack for the pump.  I wear it when I sleep and keep it loose.  When I roll over I just push it out of the way.  I never feel it there anymore.  Actually I just came back from the beach.  I just wore a tankini and was able to disconnect easily to get in the water.  I got little stickers with butterflies for my infusion site while at the beach.  For sex I take my pump off.  I usually go hypo if I try leaving it on.  The only trouble with taking it off for sex is remembering to put it back on!

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.  Shouldn't I be invincible by now?
