Nice one, tutorgirl!
I knew you were a fast learner, but this is ridiculous. You've found the formula for success that some of us have taken years to track down. Why couldn't you have told us sooner!!!!!
All the best,
Omigosh, hey. "Years of research"? That's would be Fergusc's department. I'm pretty new at this. I bumbled around for months until I figured out carbs are bad for my blood sugar. Fergusc suggested Dr. Bernstein's book and I ran out and bought it in the spring. I'm also due to see my doctor again at the end of September or early October and if my lab tests are as good as or better than the ones in May, I'm going to give my dear doctor an education in diabetes nutrition. She's a GP, a very good doctor, but not an endocrinologist. I will respectfully inform her how my lab results are so much better. (And then what will she do with all the literature from the ADA and the AHA?) Oh well. That's fantastic news, Tutorgirl
Good Luck with that Lanie!
I find that most of them aren't interested in being educated about nutrition, and will try and justify your results according to their own beliefs. I think an endo would give you a harder time about this than your GP. The one I got referred to was so rigid, he could break in two during a strong wind. im sure he hit my file with the big red non compliant patient stamper as I walked out the door -lol
