Hi everybody- We are from Canada
-my HUsband Barrie is 54, he foud out 2 years ago he was a type #1 diabetic
He'd had years, of "drunkin staggering, mossiness, vision loss, headaches, seizure like trance episodes,..."/ he was single till age 50 when he marrried me
and I noticed SOMETHING was DEFINATELY WRONG so we sought medical help
when he got diagnosed his sugar was 53
normal in Canada is 4 - 6 you dont watn higher than 8-9-10
if you get to 21 then you need more insulin....
lately he has been waking up mid morning( he works nights)
shakey... I happened to be home... his Blood sugar level was 1.4
its happening more & more
im thinking because he is working now & lost some weight maybe his isnulin needs to be adjusted
he takes 4 needles a day
NPH & rapid.
we are seeing the dibetci clinc at the end of this week,
Im just scared someday we might find him.....
anyway... Im wondering if this site could have a Blood Sugar Level Standard Comparison Data Page
for Canadians &A mericans, and maybe other countries use different standards to measure also.
