Please listen to me know i most will probably not believe me because close friends i have told have expressed there disbelief, but i have to keep searching because this is real.   Ok so starting a couple of weeks ago i would start getting these weird feelings they would be like i am in a haze and everything would feel distant and almost felt like a strange sense of happiness. i started getting them a couple times a day and thought they were weird but didnt give it too much thought. Then as the weeks progressed they came often but were followed by dizziness, disorientation, nausea, extreme slowed breathing, stomach discomfort and exaustion. Each attack only lasts under a minute and after a minute or two i feel completely normal again. Please any ideas would help i just have to know im not insane.

thanks

It defently sounds like some of what my husbands used to go through. He would always stare off into space before he had a sezure. He has been disorented for sometime. What you need to be aware of either you or a family member is how long the out to space stare last. From the time it starts to finish this is very important to your neuroligist. Maybe this will be of some help!!! I don't know what your going through but, right now I see that it is very important to talk to people that have similiar situations because it can help understand more. And also my husband's have changed to a different form totally different than before.

Please contact your primary care doctor, who will likely refer you to a neurologist. It sounds very much as if this could be seizure activity. You will likely need an MRI to evaluate it. If it is seizures, they are likely to worsen if not treated.

Good luck to you, and let us know how you're doing.

Judy is right on the money. You need to see a doctor. Petit-Mal Epilepsy can feel just like that so a trip to the neuro wouldnt be a bad idea. Let us know how you get on.
