Hello Everyone!
I'm new to the site and just wanted to introduce myself.  I'm a 40 year old woman who has had a couple strokes, one in my frontal lobe
that was fairly minor, but had a major stroke in my temprol lobe in Aug.  Went through some major speech and physical therapy and
was back at work 3 mos. later.  Now the docs are saying that I'm having temprol seizures, I really don't understand it all since I'm still
a little confused and seem to forget everything.  Unfortunately, I lost my drivers license, which also meant my job as a hospice nurse,
for the next 6 mos.  I'm a little stressed since I've been the sole provider for my family for the past couple of years, but I know that
God has His reasons and I will try my best to sit back, not stress too much, let my body heal, give docs time to find the right meds, and
trust in His strength to help get me through all of this scary stuff.
Take care of yourselves,

Hi McGoo,
Im new to this site as of the last few minutes and read your story. It must be so stressfull being the chief provider and all this is happening to you, I really feel for you.
A little about myself, Im 43 and my husband is 57 and he has had seizures for the last 8 years..We went thru a horrendous three years just figuring out what was going on with him. The docs first said he was having panic attacks and then thought it was a medication problem. One Doctor even accussed him of pretending just to get pain drugs! of course there were the shrinks that checked him out. We now know that it is the result of a minor stroke or "TIA" that is causing the problem seizures.
