I found out from a new doctor (confirmed with Epilepsy Queensland as well) that as I am on Dilantin, the way my body processes sleeping tablets and nurifin would mean I would need twice as much to take effect. What they knew was a concern for children but not for adults is that the codine in Nurifin Plus or other drugs may have an effect. They knew this from advising children on dilantin not to take codine. Does anyone have any knowledge about this for adults?? Or any advice on medication that effects the liver less??
