Hi,  crysta here, I'd like to know if there has been any link made between Fluorescent Lighting and epilepsy? I'm a late diagnosis, and have tried to be as aware as I can as to the things I feel and expereince before a seizure, as well as after. I found recently that if I'm under Fluorescent Lighting for longer than 10 min, I have a seizure, however when I'm under normal lighting or the new type of Fluorescent long life, low emission strips, I'm ok. Is this a coincidence or has anyone else experienced the same thing or similar? Thanks for patience it is very much appreciated.

yes, it can affect many with epilepsy. Some find a little help from getting polarized sunglasses if they have to be around flouresents ...

Hi Crysta,

Certain types of fluorescent lighting can trigger a seizure.
